From a childhood that hop scotched between divorced parents (both of whom had remarried), with new siblings on either side, to beginning in Bollywood as a chorus dancer for Taal, when, as part of Shiamak Davar’s troupe, he stood some rows behind Aishwarya Rai and was lost in the crowd, to when his moment of glory with Jab we Met was clouded by heartbreak, Shahid Kapur has had a rough ride. He is a flexible dancer with handful collections of hit list in which I like ‘shabba’ from Jab We Met. Now with professional acclaim coming in, maybe the time is right for some ishq vishq again!
