Still in his early 20s, and rather shy, almost refreshingly so, Pankaj Advani has the Asian and National billiards titles in his pocket. His fascination for the game began when he was only ten. Today, he is the only cueist in the world to have accomplished a ‘grand double’, winning both the points and timed formats, twice! He is the only one in the history of billiards to hold all five titles in one season but deeply regrets that cue sports are still not a part of the Olympics of Commonwealth Games. He is one of my favorite player and of course India’s ray of light in billiards.
