So it is with Asin, the lovely southern actress who moved to Mumbai after Aamir cast her opposite him in Ghajini. With 60 advertising commercials and 20 films under her 24-inch waist, Asin has an unbelievable record—not even one film has ever flopped. She speaks seven languages (among them are Sanskrit and French—Aamir asker her upfront if she spoke Hindi, she does). And yes, Asin would rather read than party. Asin’s bollywood exposure will certainly leave her at peak after the release of ‘Ghajini’ as it already created a mist of expectations among the viewers and her fans.

With a shooting range at home, and a foreign coach, his affluent parents invested everything into his training. Shy, reticent and totally focussed on his sport, to the exclusion of all other interests (he sees them as intrusions), Abhinav is using his win to mobilise support for other athletes. His attitude, mentality leads him throughout his shooting round and bagged a stunning gold medal. Abhinav Bindra, the youngest Indian ever to win gold at the Olympics.

When it comes to principles, he can be grittily pig-headed. But there’s no denying that in a world of wavering weather cocks, his prosperity to pluck up and stay put, even with an unpopular point of view (as long as he believes in it), is notable. In the throes of Ghajini, he also has another interesting film, three idiots, in the pipeline. In his personal life, what is remarkable is the manner in which he has kept peace with ex-wife, Reena, who was there at the launch of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa and still seems a part of his extended family. His remarkable performance in the film ‘Lagaan’ however couldn’t find a place in Oscar selection but his next awesome track of ‘Taare zameen par’ is at high expectation to win Oscar.
